Howdy. We've moved from Cayce, but St. Elizabeth of South Rose Hill or Lizette de Waccamaw de Sud just don't do it for me.

My steak was a rib-eye. It was supposed to be an 8 oz steak, but came out more like 12 oz. It was just a taouch more fatty than I normally like, but very tender and tasty.
Those low-light pictures actually have more contrast and definition in them than is showing up here. I'll have to take an editior to them and see if I can specify a web-ready color table.
The most technically challenging bit of the weekend was not the 140 mile loop Saturday (pre-Mt. Mitchell), but NC 9 between Black Mountain and Chimney Rock. Early rains, leaf fall, and overworked cars combined with the low-sunlight and twisties to make for some interesting curves. We'd be on dry pavement, come around a blind corner onto wet road with obvious 3'- 4' rainbow patters (oil left by cars that hadn't been washed away) or piles of wet leaves. I think this was the most sedate ride I've ever taken on that stretch of road.
But it was all bags of fun, and I'm glad we were able to go.
mllfrr,

One obvious typo and one dangling modifier. Not bad for un-proofed typing while eating a bowl of cereal.
