School nurses should not accept responsibility for holding on to chastity belt keys, even when requested by parents.

I thought those were no longer in existence. How do you get to go to the bathroom in something like that???

And, isn't that some form of child abuse?

For Heather:
The key is to allow partial removal to accommodate using the bathroom. We decided that the nurse would not hold the key and have the student use the restroom in the health room--the nurse isn't always there, she would not be able/allowed to assure that the device was properly re-secured, and, yes, we think it's a pretty horrible (if not legally "abusive") practice that we want no part of.

Yes, they are out there, and not just for the fetishists.
